Hello all! We've been working on developing a portable planetarium at our university, and we're hoping it'll turn into a great little educational tool for local schools. Here's a pic!
I've been working on warping free fullfome media for spherical projection, and AFAIK right now we have some limited options for that purpose. We have Mr Bourke's suite for MacOS and an old VLC mod for Windows. I'm really hoping to develop a Windows/Linux solution for warping, because acquiring Apple hardware is a major limitation in developing countries.
If there are certain resources/literature/open source tools that I can use to get started, I would love to know and explore in any directions.
Cheers,
S
