Hi there
I am currently researching how to produce a fulldome astronomy film for the Planetarium in Cape Town, South Africa.
I'm trying to figure out which camera setup would produce the best results. We want to film in and around the telescopes in Sutherland. We want the audience to feel like they're sitting outside in between the telescopes.
With the current tech available, would it be easiest to use a high-end 360 camera and convert the footage to fulldome in After Effects?
I was looking into this camera. Would this setup work?

Is there pottentially a cheaper option available that will be able to produce video that is high enough resolution. I've been told we need a minimum of 6k but 8k would be ideal.
Thanks so much!
