I developed the Domemaster3D lens shader for Autodesk Maya and Autodesk Softimage.
The Domemaster stereo shader is designed to create stereoscopic fulldome renderings for use in planetariums and other fulldome theaters. The Maya and Softimage shaders are based upon the work of Roberto Ziche (domemaster stereo shader for 3DS Max) and Daniel Ott (DomeAFL shader).
The Domemaster3D lens shader is compatible with Maya’s native stereo camera rig system. With the stereo rig in Maya it is possible to interactively create stereoscopic fulldome renderings in the render view using the anaglyph, luminance anaglyph, parallel freeview, and crossed freeview stereoscopic display modes.
