It is going very well. We just did a big print at Siggraph. We tracked 20 4-17 gigapixel panoramas into a 1 meter DEM of yosemite and rendered out the whole valley in a 150,000 pixel wide orthoscopic view. The print was 40 feet long. http://www.hdrlabs.com/news/index.php?id=9148207231190947809 Next we will do the other side of the valley, got 2 egypt, 1 norway trip planned for the fall to document natural and cultural heritage sites. Also going to try to squeeze a canyonlands (US) trip in.

Ka Chun sent me the link to the site.

STARGAZERS are set to enjoy the spectacle of a comet zooming through the skies this weekend.

The stunning Comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdušáková will appear gracefully green in the night skies. This short period comet of 5.25 years will pass 0.08 AU (12,430,000 km; 7,720,000 mi) from Earth on February 11, 2017.Its a rather faint object with the magnitude of +7 so a good set of binoculars or probably a telescope would be advisable for better Comet-gazing experience.Discovered in December 3, 1948 and named after Minoru Honda, Antonín Mrkos, and Ľudmila Pajdušáková.Its a treat to all the…See More
