Tracing muons from space in real time in the 30 meter dome

It is been a while, little time to post the right things !



Here a project I did last year for Radboud University from The Netherlands, visualising muon particles from outer space in real time in a 30 meter dome.  I was fortunate to form a dream team with people from all over the world to help us out in visualising. We used 12 muon detectors in a ring on the ceiling and 12 on the ground. An FPGA worked as discriminator so we could localize direction. These signals were send to Isadora… Continue
