Hey all,
Finally, the DF12 "Making of..." application is online here: http://www.domefest.org/making-of-submissions/
See the docs for full details but a few notes here:
The 2012 festival will include 40- and 20-minute “Making of...” presentations in several sessions. These presentation limits include screening time. We’re asking you to submit you work with the attached application. As with past years, we’ll curate the presentations to create the most compelling program we can muster – with your support.
“Making of...” presentation proposals are welcome from any production produced after 01 January 2011 – full shows (distributed or not, art/entertainment, science/education, etc.), short films (including works you may have submitted to the juried shows), et cetra. There are no restrictions except appropriate rights. Performance music rights provided by LASM's ASCAP and BMI licenses.
This year, we’re formalizing the process a bit more than past festivals. Here we ask you to complete the attached application and memo of understanding for review. Applications are due no later than 08 June 2012 (but early submissions are always appreciated.) There is no fee for application and we ask the process be done entirely online. Notes are included in the application.
Decisions will be made no later than 15 June 2012. Final frames and audio will be due no later than 30 June 2012.
Thanks!
