Employment Opportunity: Dome Director at the Institute of American Indian Arts

Hey all,
The postion I mentioned recently is live and we're looking for someone very special to serve as Dome Director at the renowned Institute of American Indian Arts in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. Position description and application info is here:
The position is live and applicants are asked to submit ASAP. Initial candidate reviews will begin next week.
The position requires abilities, experience and passion in serving both as a teaching faculty member and as the manager of the facility's technology and programs in the New Media Arts Department. Programs will stretch from teaching introductory/advanced production courses (2D/3D CG animation and live capture will be prioritized), serving as studio producer for IAIA-led and collaborative productions and research efforts. An immediate research program is working with us at UNM's ARTS Lab on an NSF-funded graphics research project to create new software and hardware solutions for immersive media (dome and other surfaces.) IAIA's focus in the research will be application implementation and design (not code.)
The 7.3M dome will have the unique ability to tilt from 0-degrees to 90-degrees to offer different environments for productions (both realtime and playback.) Carlos posted a couple snapshots of the dome's exoskeleton in the photo section here last week. AstroTech will be installing the perf dome in the next couple weeks. Sky-Skan will be installing a six-channel DigitalSky2 system later this summer. Hardware supporting the NSF research will be installed in the Fall.
**The search is hot and we want the position filled ASAP.**
The successful candidate will report to J. Carlos Peinado (contact below). Contact him, or me - off list- if you'd like, with questions.
Looking forward to having another domie to hang with here in the high desert.

IAIA's Mission: To empower creativity and leadership in Native arts
and cultures through higher education, lifelong learning and outreach.

Converting HD Video to Fulldome

Would anyone be kind enough to share your technique(s) for converting HD video to fisheye (fulldome)?  I'm in the process of building a sky show and are planning on assembling the program within the next couple of days.  Any help is greatly appreciated!See More
